So many wonderful posts here, and I tried to read all of them. However, I didn't see listed what I suspect will happen, so I want to record it for posterity.

I believe Roy and Katey (purse girl) started something on the Booze Cruise, and the reason Roy is driving off is to go meet up with her. On the cruise, Roy and Katey both shared that reliving-high-school thing, and Pam and Jim were just obviously on another page. Plus, Katey was so desperate for a relationship like that.

Pam will find out about Roy and Katey and not marry Roy. Since we know from Jenna's blog that Roy is wearing a ring in a photo from the season premiere, I'm really hoping it's from his marriage to someone Katey (or that he forgot to remove his personal ring).

(The Angela/Roy angle is so interesting!)

Just another thing to add about Casino Night. I think several people were too hard on Pam reagarding her response to Jim. She really was taken aback about hearing what he said to her.Yes it was alittle cold, but we need to give her a break. She's ENGAGED,she's not just casually dating Roy. Don't get me wrong,I'm totally a JAM fan,and want them together too. It's just not that simple. She's been w/Roy for years and years and has probably gotten close to his family. We just need to give Pam more of a break here.Jim is definitely a MUCH BETTER catch than Roy will ever be. But the talented writers are doing this as if it were real life,so be patient.

This is my first post to this awesome site.I am totally hooked on this cool show,I'm so gald I'm not the only one who's this obsessed!! My Mom is into as much as I am. As for Casino Night, here is what I think might have happened in the last scene (I don't think some will want to hear this)-Jim was pretty crestfallen following his huge cofession to Pam. I wonder if The Kiss was Pam's daydreaming and didn't actuallly occur in reality? Just a thought.I just don't think after being rejected like that, that Jim would have quickly gone over to her and kissed her like that. I think he probably might have just gotten drunk w/friends. If this is true,it does show Pam's true feelings.as for Roy,he is DEFINITELY borderline abusive and Pam is probably afraid to leave him for good. Can't wait 'til season3!!!

Well, seeing as The Office starts back up on September 21st, this episode is pretty pivotal.
Now, don't start thinking any crazy things, because I am the SUPER Jam supporter, and I think both Jenna and John shone like bright stars (yay for similies) in this one, and John...I mean, he cried. There were freakin' tears in his eyes after Pam said...whatever lame excuse she thought of. But...
lots of people (like four) think this episode wasn't as good as others, and it doesn't deserve to be #1 at OfficeTally.
I don't agree. James was totally right in that the starting sequence was one of (if not the best) the best opening sequences in the whole show, and it continued with having each character's hillarious moment (even if some of them were small, but I think everyone got good screen time) just rounding them out even more. I have to say, poor Jan. (And Jim, but he got the kiss. I'm not even sure why Jan kissed Michael in the first place. Like she said, it was really late...)
A lot of people think "The Injury" or "The Fire" deserve better kudos than "Casino Night", because the Jam 'hype' just made it popular.
In The Office, there are times to be really insane silly, and times to bawl your eyes out (like in "Take Your Daughter To Work Day"), and I think "Casino Night" balanced both of those perfectly, adding a little fangirl squeal at the end of the episode with The Kiss. Yes, maybe it wasn't as EXTREMELY silly as others, but it was still silly and made me laugh, but the serious/bawling eye parts were the best so far (and I'm not saying that just because Jim finally told her. Even though I kinda am...)

So, all in all, "Casino Night" gets a 12/10 in my book. ;)

[...] Robert says he loves to recycle. He recycles, “plastic, paper, ex-boyfriends.” Kayne is taking all the bottle caps off the bottles and is relating how comfortable in the trash. After all he grew up in white trash (his words, not mine) and used to dumpster dive for fun. This explains so many things about the way that he choose to be that I now understand. [That’s an intentional Office misquote] Laura is wondering if she can make fur trim out of paper shreds, and Vincent tells the world that he’s going to make the opposite of trash out of his materials. He’s going to make art. He’s telling us this now, in case we don’t recognize it as such when it comes down the runway. [...]

Pam shouldn't dump Roy for Jim because she's already taken? Yikes. I think that right before a huge mistake would be the best time to realize and correct a huge mistake.

I just thought of something. Maybe when the camera crew shows the things they have filmed, they will show the casino night kiss, and what happened after the kiss ended. That would be really cool. =) Then we could see what she had to say to Jim afterward.

Jenna Fischer has confirmed on her MySpace blog that there is no dialogue after the kiss in Casino Night. Hope this clears things up for some people. :)

this page is AWESOME by the way and i love reading everyone's comments and knowing i am not the only Office-obsessed fan out there!! : ) BEST SHOW EVER!!

anyway, after reading these coments, i started wondering what pam says at the end of the "Casino Night" episode (I didn't even notice the first time i watched the episode back in may)

so, i watched "casino night" again last night, since all the season 2 episodes are airing again, and i rewound that last scene (i have tivo) where pam says something at the end...i think she says, "I'm late."

That would be SO NOT GOOD, but i think that is what she says. UGHHH!!
