Flönkkerton : A How-To Guide

Thursday22 December 2005

This brilliant piece of work comes to us courtesy of Nikki and is sure to be an indispensable aid for employees looking to light their own inaugural Office Olympics torches. For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, Flönkkerton is the national sport of Icelandic paper companies. In English, it’s known as Box-of-Paper-Snowshoe-Racing.

And there we have it. Go get your Flönk on.

Oh Nikki, that's awesome.

The legs of a Flonkkerton racer of olympic caliper must be in incredible shape due to the fact that boxes of paper are really darn heavy.

Any instructions on how to make the doves?

When I was a collate girl at a Sir Speedy, the production staff used to do that when we had to move the boxes from one side of the shop to the other. It was hard but hysterical!

It almost looks like an Ikea spec sheet!

Anyone know how to get in touch with the Nikki that did this? I have a question for her.
