Shows like The Office compel me to do certain things. Things like wondering about them obsessively, compulsively checking message boards, rewatching episodes over and over again in an attempt to glean every possible bit of information from them… you know, little things like that.
This got me thinking: if I’m going to allow myself to be this consumed by a television show (and, really, I’m not fighting it because the show is just that brilliant), why not take it a step further and write about it? Naturally, I also wanted to survey the surrounding landscape: are other people watching it for the same reasons? Who are their favorite characters? Is Dwight adopted? Does anyone else think Angela is a cat reincarnated as a human being? It’s burning questions like those that drive me to reflect on this show in my spare time, and now, thanks to the painfully simple WordPress installation process, all of you will be privy to the jumble of thoughts that is constantly swirling inside my head.
