Head on over to the official site to check out the first two summer webisodes titled “The Books Don’t Balance” and “Phyllis” and to be reminded of just how ruthless Angela can be. Brrr. Ice cold, man. Ice. Cold.
In related news, Marc from The Break Room just posted their recent interview with Angela Kinsey. The show is available in a variety of formats (no iPod required) and includes details regarding the webisodes and the upcoming Season Two DVD set among other things. Don’t miss it.
I agree with Chardish. We waited this long for that? Dear lord. Kevin was the only bright spot and it was barely dim.
I disagree. I thoroughly enjoyed the Phyllis episode. Pretty obvious why they introduced the 2 episodes together. I'm looking forward to more.
I enjoyed the Phyllis episode more, as well.
I'm sure they needed time to set up the story in the first one, and didn't have a lot of time left for jokes. It's difficult to have jam-packed hilarity in just 2 minutes, while also trying to advance the plot.
I think they are just getting warmed up. I bet soon we'll be raving about them. I do agree that these first two weren't amazing, but I enjoyed them and look forward to the next one.
If nothing else, I really appreciate that they took the time to do this for the fans who are going through withdrawl!
i never thought i'd say this, but i was bored watching the office. the webisodes look more like randomn takes from different scences that were left on the cutting room floor and someone came along and said, "hey lets up these on the website". bad idea. deleted scenes are deleted for a reason. maybe i'm being a little harsh.
I thought they were pretty good, Kevin shines in both of them. I definitely liked "Phyllis" better, I laughed quite a bit at the refrigerator joke.
I'm sure once they are all pieced together (like they will be on the DVD) they'll be more bearable. But I agree, they were somewhat disappointing. Hopefully they'll get better as the story continues.
Thanks for the link to the podcast!
I thought the entry had to be in by July 23rd at 12:15 in the afternoon :(. I'd love you forever if you took mine! :D But if you don't, I understand. Mine as well try!
You Are Jim Halpert
You have the undeniable power to make others around you laugh. Others enjoy your company and genuinely like being your friend. You’re the “nice guy” but love pulling a joke on a friend occasionally. Others love having you as a friend and feel they can talk to you about anything. You’re comfortable in your everyday life but secretly seek better things for yourself.
How disappointing. A couple chuckles, but nothing more.
I feel like we've gotten a glimpse of the show we can all be happy The Office isn't - lengthy setups for weak gags.
