So I had a chance to check out Slither over the weekend. I spent the entire time contorting my face between one of revulsion and one of laughter. While the movie is wildly funny at times, it is equally disgusting at others. Every time one of the characters turned a corner (literally), I expected them to encounter some new, horrifying brand of unpleasantness. It was great, stomach-churning fun. If slimy, mushy, exploding things aren’t your thing, then you may want to keep a safe distance. It’s vile stuff to be sure, but if you think you’ve got what it takes to handle the yuckfest, then by all means, head out and see it.

There were a couple highlights for me, but in the interests of keeping things spoiler free, I’ll mention a couple vague phrases and leave it at that: police station armory and squid tracker. Both are awesome. Also, Firefly/Serenity fans will dig the opportunity to watch Nathan Fillion back in the lead, and, of course, it buys you a quick glimpse of Pam’s Southern alter ego. Not a bad deal for eight bucks, give or take.

John Krasinski in talks to star in "License to Wed" with Mandy Moore and Robin Williams. I beleive his part is pretty sured up because Moore talks about it on her myspace blog, saying they're about to start filming.
