I'm not an HR professional, and we may have to call Toby in on this one, but why in the world would Jan say who the criminal (reformed convict) is? Even she had to know that was a horrible idea, and I'm a big fan of a steaming bowl of Levinson.

quick question: how can Kevin almost steal the show, and then Andy wins in a landslide? that's contradictory

I just loved when it Andy, brimming with misplaced confidence, strolled over to shy little Pam and told her, ever so matter-of-factly, that she is indeed cute. Almost " used-car-salesman" like. LOL.

Oh, and of course his 2 second assessment of Kelly as a "good romp in the sack" was priceless as well.

Some first-rate moments--- Creed with the paper clips, Dwight with the $$ hanging out of his pocket... but Helms really carried the day. I wonder if we're seeing the beginning of a "Survivor"-like story arc, with a different Stamford character getting booted every week.

I think it was a good episode overall. Why did Martin leave and not the annoying chick with the baby though? She adds nothing to the show. Anyways...even though there wasn't that much interaction, I think this was a good episode for Jam too. I agree with those who said Jim was being protective of Pam and everything. And then during the credits when Ed Helms was playing the banjo to Pam [hilarious!], after he got done playing, the camera zoomed to Jim at his desk and he and Pam had another one of their smiles, even though he wasn't looking at her. So. cute.

This episode was plodding along nicely enough until the "Prison Mike" scene. Major cringe-worthy.

Everything else was great - Andy, the Jim/Pam/Karen interactions (look how happy Pam was to be back in on a joke with Jim! That was cute.), Creed, and the British/cold ending. Michael's becoming too much of a caricature, however, and his actions are becoming more and more implausible (and not funny). Aside from that scene, a nice episode.
